GCNF will be represented at the School Nutrition Association’s (SNA) Annual National Conference (ANC) to be held in Dallas, Texas July 11-14, 2010. In addition to the information booth that will be located in the SNA Marketplace, GCNF has one education session, “School Feeding Beyond Borders,” scheduled for Wednesday, July 14th from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m
Gene White, GCNF President, and Penny McConnell, GCNF Treasurer, will present how GCNF works globally to assist developing countries in providing school meals for some of the world’s most needy children. Attendees will learn about the Foundation’s mission, its program of work, and the values and projects that guide Foundation activities. SNA members are also welcome to join GCNF at their Wellness Event to Change Our World fundraiser taking place on Monday, July 12th, from 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. The Wellness Event to Change Our World is always a fun (and healthy!) event, so please join GCNF during the wee hours of the morning on July 12th.
